Waking up is a struggle that takes loads of self-encouragement and far more effort than any person should be expected to give, first thing in the morning. Especially when they’re laying in a warm comfortable bed with their mate sleeping beside them.
I yawn just a little as I rub Julian’s back, relishing in the rush of pleasure that greets me as it did every morning, reminding me of how fucking lucky I was to score the mate I did.
Julian snuggles closer to me, his arms tightening around me in response as he tried to glue us together with a satisfied groan.
