I stare into the wide blue eyes which were identical to the ones I’d known since the day I was born, a weird mix of happiness and weariness rising up within me.
Peter just blinks at me, his fingers lodged within his mouth while he hangs from my arms.
“You are Julian,” I whisper and if he agreed, a smile forced its way onto his lips as he gurgled while his slightly chubby legs curled beneath him. “He made a carbon copy of himself.”
