“Damon, are you listening to me?! Damon? Damon!”
I pull the phone away from my ear, trying to silence Hagen’s barking with distance, but it doesn’t help jackshit.
I glance at Will, making a face, and he scowls at me, pointing for me to reply. I roll my eyes because firstly, Will was in the kitchen making breakfast; he had no idea what face I was making and secondly, when I finally got Nikola to agree to hang out with me, I didn’t know it came with a Hagen-sized lecture attached.
