I had sharp instincts. Always had and I was pretty sure I always would.

Aiden liked to say that it went further than that. Apparently I had a superior sense of intuition mixed with unusually sharp instincts that made me some kind of super mutant werewolf. I’d always felt proud of that, especially when it was mirrored in the kids who loved to say, ‘Dad always knows’.
