“Chris, I love you so much,” I say with a sweet smile while Nic cuddles me in his arms.
Chris looks up from his phone, the look he gave me was anything but loving, “just tell me what you want babe, you don’t have to sweeten it up.”
I gasp while I try to look a little hurt but he didn’t even blink. Pouting at him, I ask, “am I not allowed to tell you how much I love you whenever I want?”
“You are,” Chris allows, “but when you do it so randomly it usually means you want something.”
