I stare at my parents, wondering where they were hoping to take this.
Dad looked far better than I expected, all things considered.
Yeah, he was sweating far more than he normally did, and yeah, his nervousness was like a live wire that kept shocking me through the family bond. But his leg wasn’t shaking and he wasn’t rambling, that was a good thing!
