I wasn’t the type to get angry when things went wrong.

Sometimes, it just happened and there was nothing that could be done to stop a series of events from happening in complete opposition to your plans.

I’d seen that happen more than enough times in my short life to know it wasn’t worth making a fuss, and with time, I’d gotten used to adapting where need be instead.

At least, that’s how I used to be.
