As I open my eyes and look across the length of our bedroom, I find it the same as it’d been a minute ago, which I guess made sense. It wasn’t as if Goddess was going to appear before me and tell me ‘yes’— things didn’t work like that. But I guess I didn’t really know how things worked.

Still, it was disappointing to see that nothing had changed.

You need to stop thinking the worst — Theo interjects, ever the optimistic voice of reason. I thought we got rid of this nasty habit.

    Oh gosh, this was so painful… And hits so close to home. I’ve struggled to conceive for a long time and even lost a new born in the process. So every emotion, every feeling Damon went thru, I felt it… Deja vu I kid you not!
    The way you write to bring your characters to life, their flaws and their strengths..it’s truly magic. I sobbed like I’m dying but it was beautiful in its own way…
    Oh and btw, the good Lord blessed me with a girl so alls okay now! She’s 4 now, Praise God
