“DOES ANYONE HAVE SUPER GLUE?!”

“MY BOW IS MISSING! WHO TOOK MY BOW!?”

“I’M OUT OF SEQUINS! DAMON! WE’RE OUT OF SEQUINS!”

“I’VE GOT!” I holler out the door before I slip back into my room. Kai stands just where I left her, caked in baby powder with her arms raised like an awkward scarecrow. I snort.

“You can not laugh,” she groans. “You are the one making me do this, so you can not laugh.”

“You’d laugh if you could see you too,” I promise. “Matter of fact—” I turn her when I reach her so she gets a glimpse of herself.

Her bodysuit is half on, hanging limp from her waist, leaving the rest of her a powdery ghost except for her face, which is as gorgeous as ever. Her frown disappears as she laughs too.

“Alright,” she gives in, eyes catching mine in the mirror. “Just get me into the rest of this before—”

“You have super glue?” Levi asks as he races through the door, eyes red. Kai turns around with a squeak, powdered arms wrapping around herself protectively. “Ahh shit! Sorry! I didn’t realise you were changing.” Levi apologises as he scrambles to turn himself around. “Josey, why on Earth would you leave the door open if you and Kai are still changing?!”

“I thought Will was coming,” I defend as I pull the door in. “What do you want?”

“Super glue! You said you had,” he accuses as he risks peeking over his shoulder to glare at me.

“I meant the sequins,” I return, and he groans, already leaving. “Check the kitchen drawers!”

“Yeah, yeah,” he says, waving me off. Levi dashes down the hallway, passing Will as he comes rushing up the stairs.

I spot fluffy ears, an all-white onesie, and gasp, betrayed.

“You are not just—”

“Oh, please,” Will cuts me off, marching straight over and shoving me aside. “You think I would wear a onesie and call it a day? Have faith, Josey.”

I follow him inside as Kai relaxes when she spots Will. “And what are you to be?” She asks, brows rising.

“No spoilers,” he scolds, “though I doubt you’d get it.”

“Hey!” Kai groans, but Will’s already moved on.

He looks between us and all of Kai’s latex, lips pulling up into a devilish grin. “But… I think I know what you will be.”

“Shut it, and wait for the judge’s panel.”

When I tell you guys, I’ve been physically laughing out loud for this one, it’s deadass one of my favourite extras.

It was really hard to find a section for the sneak peek without spoiling, but I hope this one is enough to get y’all excited!

I loveeee the idea of Kai, Will and Josey having some really casual almost sibling-like relationship.
