“Why are you packing three sleeping bags?” I ask with a frown while I watch Julian stuff another sleeping bag with things I doubted anyone really need in the woods.
“In case something happens to one of our own,” He says in a tone that suggested that sort of reasoning should’ve been obvious. “Now have you packed everything on the list?”
