The copious amount of wine, the various types of dancing, the laughter and cheer – it was a staple of elven culture and was woven into the very fabric of our souls.
When Malcolm had begged me to attend one of the galas he and Lincoln threw for the vampires, I should’ve suspected that it wouldn’t quite be the same as an elven one.
