When my bag’s all packed and most of the people have filtered out of my classroom, I get up from my seat and make my way out too, smiling a little with my excitement.
Today was Friday and Fridays were the best because it was family day.
When we got home from school, both Dad and Papa would be there already making lunch since they always made sure to come home early on Fridays. We’d join to help and when everyone was finished eating, we’d do something fun together, like watch a show or go for a run.
Fridays were just the best because everyone was together, and happy too!
