I wake up like I’m in a silly human movie.

The second my alarm goes off, I’m sitting up with a smile on my face and jumping out of bed like I’ve already had one too many espressos. The only difference between the stars of those flicks and me is that I’m not a horny teenager excited for the first day of school, and there’s another person in my bed that isn’t a stuffed animal.

“Goddess Aiden, why are you like this?” Julian moans, turning over in an attempt to go back to sleep, but fuck that.

We were one and all that good stuff, which meant that if I were up and losing my shit, then he had to be up to watch it as well.

“I’m like this because today’s the day, Jewels,” I climb atop my mate, ignoring his groans and gripping as I turn him over.
