Peter’s P.O.V
Finals week.
I stare at the two blaring red words on my calendar, silently challenging me like they did every single year.
Exams were my kryptonite, and finals week was my very own real-world final boss that I could never beat. There was just something about big tests that made me crumble.
Maybe it was their continuously stated importance – did teachers seriously have to remind us every class how much they counted towards our final grade – or maybe it was the set time to complete them, but every time finals week rolled around, I wanted to roll over.
I knew I wasn’t the only one. Dad always reminded me that lots of people, supernatural or not, didn’t do well under pressure and bombed major exams, but that never made me feel better, especially when he tried telling me that while I was crying over my results.
